Extension Traction

 
Instructions

1. Lay with the base of the skull at the edge of a treatment table or bed allowing gravity to pull your neck into extension.

2. Begin with 1 minute per day for the first week, adding one additional minute each week up to a maximum of 10 minutes.

If you experience any dizziness, nausea, visual abnormalities or feel light headed, stop immediately. Discontinue the exercise and discuss your experience with your doctor on your next visit.


Abdominal Hollowing


Instructions

1. Begin in a 4-point stance - kneeling on hands and knees.

2. Suck belly in. Bring your belly button up toward your spine. Suck your stomach away from your belt.

3. Hold your stomach sucked in and continue to breathe.

4. Hold your stomach sucked in, continue to breath and do cross extensions of arm and opposite leg.


Back Extension


Instructions

1. Begin on knees with hands behind head and head & upperbody flexed over the ball (lumbar flexion)

2. Lift Head and upper body so that the lower back is parrallel to the ground (lumbar neutral)
